7A: Five Violet Clouds

I started by shaping yellow thread on felt to make a number “5”, then I overlayed layers of glass, painting clouds onto each one and discovering new shapes to highlight. Medium: Yellow yarn on felt with added layers of liquid chalk and acrylic paint on glass illuminated by UV and LED light.

5B: Reversed Dirt

Starting from 5A: Sawdust Walker, I printed a grayscale version of the image on transparency paper two times, then placed one image reversed upon the other over a light board.
